Job summary

AC Disaster Consulting is seeking a Logistics Section Chief to lead incident logistics operations at CO EOC locations. The role requires coordinating with state and federal partners, managing branch activities, and guiding resource support for field operations with 12-hour shifts.

Travel to client sites and extended deployments are expected. The candidate should have astrong background in emergency management, incident command, Excel proficiency, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Experience in Incident Command Framework at state or federal levels.
• Experience with financial management applications.
• Experience in Emergency Operations Center or disaster response (2 activations or exercises).
• Capable of critical decision-making in a highly charged, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Required training courses IS-100, IS-200, IS-300, IS-400, IS-700, IS-800, E/G/L-0191, E/L-0958, O-0305.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SLRC to prioritize support requirements and identify hardest-hit counties.
• Collaborate with ESF-6 and NGOs to rapidly deploy field kitchens and cantinas.
• Secure land or buildings through lease, RRF, or MOA for staging areas and base camps.
• Coordinate with ESF-11 to project and procure food, water, and ice.
• Support Logistics Staging Area (LSA) operations with National Guard.
• Work with ESF-19 Fuels on fueling provisions for the response effort.
• Attend client meetings and conference calls; ensure compliance with policies and timelines.
• Provide service and support for assigned resources; communicate changes in logistics support.
