Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is looking for an Emergency Department Technician to assist with patient care and department maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, as well as experience in Emergency Room/Urgent Care settings. Responsibilities include checking vital signs, supporting RN and physician duties, and ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of Emergency Room/Urgent Care Technician experience or work in an EMT‑B, EMT‑I or EMT‑P related position.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the maintenance of department supplies and equipment.
• Checks and documents vital signs as directed by the RN or physician.
• Provides care and ensures a timely response to patient needs.
