Novant Health is expanding emergency services with the new Clements Ferry Emergency Department, a freestanding, state-of-the-art facility providing 24/7 emergency care near the Daniel Island and Charleston communities. This PRN night position sits in the Laboratory department and requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic emergency setting.

Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology is required; MLT

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology is required.
• Military training (50+ weeks) can be substituted for formal education.
• Bachelor-level certifications not specified; ASCP or AMT certification is preferred in the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of patient specimens.
• Conduct quality control and equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize LIS systems.
