BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join their team. The role involves caring for animal patients, sanitation of the facility, and assisting with basic patient care under supervision.

Responsibilities include observing patients, feeding and bedding, restraining patients during treatments, and maintaining equipment. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position with opportunities for growth within the organization.

• Provide routine attention to patients, including walking dogs.
• Effectively clean and maintain hospital equipment and tools.
• Quantify patient voids and report findings to senior Veterinary Assistant or Technician.
• Remove and wash soiled laundry and keep clean laundry stocked.
• Patrol facility regularly to ensure cleanliness.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join their team!

Pay

$16.00 - $20.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Schedule

Swing Shift - 12pm-12am

A Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of animals that are patients of the hospital and cleans the hospital facility, equipment, and tools. The role may include assistance with basic patient care such as the safe restraint of patients during treatment.

As a Kennel Assistant, you will:

• Observe patients for obvious signs of health concerns and report any findings to senior staff.
• Clean and disinfect areas of the hospital as often as is necessary to maintain high standards of care.
