Qualifications

• At least ONE YEAR of veterinary technician experience.
• Registered Veterinary Technician in Colorado or ability to become registered upon hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English skills required; multiple languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced care for hospitalized ICU patients.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments and procedures.
• Perform standard technician duties: restraint, venipuncture, SQ fluids, radiographs, medications, lab samples.
• Collaborate with all hospital departments to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Respond to STAT calls and follow patient care protocols.
• Maintain paperless medical records using EzyVet and Smartflow.
• Explain estimates and discuss payments with owners; discharge patients.
