Job summary

Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) in Boulder, CO is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Technician to support our emergency/ICU team. You will perform triage, nursing, and monitoring for critically ill animals, under supervision of specialists, emergency doctors, and leads, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role offers 7pm-7am shifts (Mon-Wed and Sun-Tue) with a full-time schedule, competitive hourly pay, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and night differential.

Qualifications

• Must be CVT, LVT, RVT, or PVT certified in Colorado.
• Two years in emergency/critical care preferred.
• Fluent English (speaking & reading) required; multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage emergency calls and walk-ins, conduct patient assessments, and provide comprehensive nursing care.
• Perform venipuncture, place catheters, and emergency procedures such as airway management and oxygen administration.
• Process and evaluate lab specimens, run CBCs, coagulation tests, and urinalysis.
• Engage with pet owners, provide discharge instructions, and support clients with empathetic communication.
• Maintain and stock ICU supplies, ensure a clean and organized work environment, and handle reception tasks as needed.
