The Salvation Army - Family Resource Center in Spokane, WA is seeking a Community Service Specialist - Hope Market to support emergency assistance, food bank operations, and daily community services, on-site. You will assist participants in selecting food, manage inventory, and collaborate with program managers and TSA programs to connect clients with resources.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to serving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AA degree or higher preferred with work experience.
• Experience with low-income and vulnerable populations is desirable.
• Must be able to type, data entry, and organize efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the food bank: ordering, accepting, stocking shelves, and notifying the supervisor of issues.
• Assist participants in selecting food and managing food distributions.
• Coordinate with Community Services Program Manager and TSA programs for referrals and seasonal events.
• Perform tasks across Food Bank Operations, Case Management, Emergency Assistance Programs and related activities.
