Islamic Relief USA seeks a Disaster Feeding Program Manager to lead mobile kitchen operations, logistics, and volunteer deployment for emergency feeding nationwide. The role focuses on program readiness, donor compliance, and collaboration with VOAD networks and government partners.

This temporary, grant-funded position requires strong leadership, logistics management, and a proven track record in disaster response within a faith-based humanitarian organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5-7 years in program management or disaster response roles.
• Experience with multi-site programs and emergency operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of mobile food kitchens and disaster feeding.
• Coordinate logistics, procurement, storage, and distribution across regions.
• Oversee grant reporting, budgets, and donor deliverables.
• Manage SOPs for emergency feeding, volunteers, and readiness.
• Supervise coordinators and support volunteer mobilization and training.
• Engage VOAD, emergency management agencies, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety, USDA/ FDA guidelines, and policies.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and donor reporting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management or related field

Master’s degree preferred

5-7 years program management experience
