Job summary

AMR in Wisconsin is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate part-time openings. Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include assessing patients and providing care, documenting information, maintaining a safe environment, and working with EMS teams and the public. Join AMR and help support communities with mobile medical services.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
State EMT License required.
State Driver’s License required.
BLS and NREMT certifications required.
Driving record must be compliant with company policy.
Must pass Physical Agility Test.
Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

EMTs assess patients, determine needed care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Provide care using EMT skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and public relations.
