Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documenting information, maintaining a safe environment, and performing EMT duties with appropriate equipment.

The role requires EMT certification (WA/US), CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license; healthcare experience

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
State Driver’s License required.
National or WA state EMT certification required.
CPR/BLS certifications required.
Driving record in compliance with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test required.
Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and determine needed care; deliver emergency services.
Document patient information and treatment; maintain confidentiality and patient rights.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Utilize EMT skills including communication, medical equipment, and procedures.
Operate ambulance employees in line with company safety policies and traffic laws.
Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel; EMT team coordination.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
