Advocate Health’s Grafton ED seeks an ED Tech to provide direct patient care under nursing supervision. You will assist with assessments, monitor devices, and help with procedures to support rapid, safe patient care in a busy Emergency Department.

Role requires 2–3 years of hospital or pre-hospital care experience, CPR certification, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Shift includes every fourth weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 yrs hospital or pre-hospital patient care experience or completion of 1 yr nursing school rotations or CNA.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to use keyboard and read computer screens.

Responsabilités

• Perform direct patient care as directed by nursing/medical staff.
• Assist with invasive procedures and monitor vital signs and equipment.
• Document interventions in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with patient rounds hourly and ensure patient comfort and safety.
