Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior dispatch experience is highly desirable.
• A valid California driver license and completion of a POST dispatcher course or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and routine calls and dispatch police personnel.
• Maintain radio contact and status of in-field units.
• Coordinate with City departments, emergency services, and other agencies.
• Process arrestees including booking and transport to appropriate facilities.
• Maintain a dispatch log and prepare related reports.
