Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or preferred.
• Emergency Medical Dispatch Training preferred.
• Experience in a communications center desired.
• Pro QA licensure/certification/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer 911 calls and dispatch emergency services within the established time frame.
• Gather critical information and verify incident location per protocol.
• Remain on the line with the caller until responders arrive and provide coaching as needed.
• Assign ambulances and send all info within 30 seconds of dispatch.
