Job summary

Priority OnDemand is seeking a Call Taker to serve as the first point of contact for customers requesting transportation services. The role involves gathering essential information, handling EMS dispatch protocols, and entering data into CAD systems while ensuring privacy and security of patient information.

Responsibilities include operating the dispatch console, maintaining clear records, coordinating with dispatchers for ETAs, and complying with all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Operates dispatch console, phone system and equipment at shift start.
• Maintains security of buildings, dispatch center and property.
• Maintains clean work area and dispatch center.
• Maintains communications with company units, facilities and public safety personnel.
• Answers emergent and non-emergent calls and prioritizes based on severity.
• Keeps accurate records of calls and actions taken.
• Interacts with dispatchers for ETA coordination.
• Inputs intake information into CAD systems and processes insurance information for approval.
