Community Health Network in Indianapolis is seeking an Emergency Room Technician for evening, full-time shifts (three 12-hour shifts per week, 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with every third weekend).
You will welcome patients, perform cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation, and control access to the ED while collaborating with the care team and supporting patient care as directed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, complete arrhythmia recognition, healthcare experience

TheEmergency Room Technician is responsible for greeting and orienting patients to the patient care area. They perform cardiac monitoring testing and rhythm interpretation and also provide security access to and from the Emergency Department by monitoring cameras and answering entrance phones. Provides patient care services as stated to the patient. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
