Job summary

Sentara Healthcare Inc. is seeking an ED tech supervisor to oversee the inventory use process in the Emergency Department and to provide front line supervision of the ED techs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of ED tech and inventory experience.

Candidates may need EMT-B certification or related clinical training per Sentara’s criteria, with potential internal candidates considered. This is a full-time position supporting hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree (Required).
• 2 years of ED Tech Experience (Required).
• 2 years of Inventory Experience (Required).
• EMT-B with state or national certification at time of hire OR US Military Hospital Corps School MMAC OR current student enrolled in a clinical program with at least one semester completed.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the ED manager, responsible for oversight and management of the inventory use process for the emergency department as well as front line supervision of the ED techs.
