Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Emergency Department Technician in Peoria, IL to join the ED care team. You will perform basic patient care tasks to support patient comfort, safety, and observation under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ADLs assistance, specimen collection, and recording chart information. The role requires a High School/GED and appropriate licenses/certifications (BLS CPR, CNA, EMT-B IL).

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS for healthcare provider CPR, CNA, EMT-B IL license

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Record information in patient charts and communicate with other care team members.
• Assist with ECGs, crutch-walk teaching, spinal immobilization and basic wound care.
