Job summary

Lexington Health seeks an ED Technician to perform patient care and support services in the Emergency Department in West Columbia, SC. You will assist with triage, monitoring vital signs, and basic procedures under RN supervision.

Role requires 1 year of acute care experience, High School Diploma or Equivalent, BLS, CPI training within 90 days, and familiarity with medical terminology and EPIC. On-site benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year of patient care experience in an acute care setting required.
• 1 year experience can substitute for CNA, EMT, or Fundamentals of Nursing training.
• BLS and CPI training required within 90 days of hire; basic computer skills and medical terminology knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians with treatments and examinations.
• Place patients on oxygen therapy and monitor, document vital signs.
• Serve as Unit Secretary when needed—answer calls, coordinate charts and procedures.
