MUSC Health in Columbia, SC seeks an Emergency Department Technician II, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, to perform multi-skilled patient-care activities and support a decentralized, patient-centered approach to care.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of patient-care experience; training in phlebotomy, EKG, and unit competency is provided during the first six months of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience as Patient Care Tech, CNA, EMT or nursing student with clinical exposure.
• BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Support patient care under RN supervision in a fast-paced ED.
• Perform multi-skilled activities to aid a decentralized patient-centered approach.
• Demonstrate competency in required training (phlebotomy, EKG) within six months.
