Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support the Free Standing Emergency Department at St. Augustine.

This is a full-time evening shift position focused on patient care and efficient ED operations. You will assist RNs with activities of daily living, maintain a safe environment, collect lab specimens, monitor intake and output, and document in the electronic medical record under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA/AS preferred.
• BLS certification required; EMT or CNA licensure required.
• Experience in patient care and hospital settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily health needs.
• Support activities of daily living and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Collect lab specimens and monitor intake and output.
• Document in the electronic medical record under RN supervision.
• Contribute to efficient ED operations and patient flow.
