Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Tech for day shifts. The role involves supporting the ED team, assisting with patient care under RN/LPN supervision, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

You will work in a fast-paced Georgia emergency department and engage with diverse patients. Candidates must hold a Georgia EMT certification or NREMT Intermediate, be a nursing student with clinical rotations, or have 2+ years of relevant patient-care tech experience.

Qualifications

• Georgia Basic EMT Certification or NREMT Intermediate required
• Nursing program student with at least 1 semester of clinical rotations in an acute care hospital required
• In lieu of EMT license, 2+ years of patient care tech/ER tech experience accepted
• Current BLS CPR certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Provide age-appropriate patient care to assigned population
• Collaborate with health care team to support ED operations and patient flow
