Qualifications

• Must modify care based on patient age; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by anticipating needs and supporting daily activities.
• Partner with nurses and providers, sharing observations to support care plans in a fast-paced ED.
• Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall-prevention to promote safe recovery.
• Document vitals and patient status accurately to aid clinical decisions.
• Create a calm environment for patients and families, offering reassurance during challenging moments.
