Children’s Wisconsin's Emergency Department and Trauma Center seeks a motivated healthcare professional to join a fast-paced team delivering life-saving care to pediatric patients. You will perform basic and advanced life support, document in Epic, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to stabilize acutely ill or injured children.

Schedule Details: three 12 hour shifts/week (7am-7pm)

Working alongside emergency medicine providers and nurses, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while supporting life‑saving interventions and emergency treatment.

Requirements
Orientation : If hired attendance will be required the first week at a New Hire Welcome day on Monday from 9a-4p. There are 3 days of central care partner orientation from 8a-4:30p on Tuesday, Wed and Thursday that first week. We prefer participation in all the sessions, but at minimum, the Thursday session is mandatory.
The Emergency Department/Trauma Center provides emergency health care for children and adolescents up until their 18th birthday who present for care.. Emergency care is provided for all types of illnesses and injuries, 24 hours a day. The severity of illness and injury varies and is defined by the Triage guidelines as non‑urgent, urgent, and emergent. 54% of all inpatient admissions will come from the EDTC, which is 17% of all EDTC patients. With the frequent populations seen, collaborative practice protocols help to expedite care delivered.
