Job summary

Job description

We are seeking an ER nurse to join our Pediatric Trauma Center (EDTC) team in Fall 2026. This full‑time position requires a 12‑hour night shift schedule, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.

Prefer candidates with Emergency Department RN experience or at least a year of RN experience in an acute hospital setting. Must be comfortable committing long term to working 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent academic and/or professional experience.
• A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) training is required within 90 days.
• Certified BLS‑Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider – American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council.
• License RN‑Registered Nurse (30) – State of Wisconsin.
• PALS‑Pediatric Advanced Life Support – American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council.
