Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing licensure or eligible.
• BLS & ACLS required or obtained within 30 days.
• Strong clinical thinking and communication skills (preferred).
• Previous critical care experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and collect data to develop individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered plans of care.
• Deliver skilled, safe, and compassionate nursing care with adherence to standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation compliant with requirements.
• Respond to emergencies following procedures and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Demonstrate professional accountability with policies and safety guidelines.
• Provide leadership through delegation and staffing support.
