Job summary

Arnot Health in Elmira, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem flex staffing across units. The RN will provide patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with the nursing team to maintain quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and data collection to develop nursing diagnoses and care plans.
Develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered plans of care based on needs and priorities.
Deliver skilled, safe nursing care and ensure continuity of care per standards.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, conditions, and self-care.
Maintain accurate patient documentation in line with regulations.
Respond to emergencies by following procedures and coordinating care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communication.
Demonstrate accountability by following policies, safety guidelines and evidence-based practice.
Provide leadership through delegation, problem solving, and staffing support
