Arnot Health in Elmira, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a per diem (IRP/Flex) basis. The RN will assess patients, implement care plans, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires NYS licensure or eligibility, BLS and ACLS within 30 days, and strong clinical thinking and communication. Previous critical care experience is preferred. Onsite shift coverage with competitive pay of $46.50 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing licensure or eligibility.
• BLS & ACLS required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Strong clinical thinking and communication skills.
• Previous critical care experience.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans.
• Deliver skilled, safe, and compassionate nursing care while ensuring continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, health conditions, and self-care needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and concise patient documentation in compliance with organizational, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes and effective communication.
• Demonstrate professional accountability through adherence to nursing policies, safety guidelines, and evidence-based practice.
