Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a motivated RN for its Emergency Department. The role involves 2 x 12-hour night shifts per week with some weekend coverage, and a sign-on bonus available up to $7,500.

The 38-bed ED sees about 160 patients daily and functions as a primary Stroke and STEMI receiving center with thrombolytics and on-campus helicopter pads. You will work with ED staff to deliver high-quality care across the lifecycle, maintain standards of practice, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred; new graduates eligible.
• Georgia RN license or compact multistate license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments using nursing processes.
• Develop and implement care plans; monitor outcomes.
• Oversee activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Document patient care and changes in the chart.
• Identify teaching opportunities for patients and families.
