Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center’s Emergency Department is seeking a compassionate RN for part-time night shifts. The 38-bed ED handles about 160 patients daily and offers a sign-on bonus up to $7,500. A dynamic team supports trauma and stroke/CV events with multiple care pods and collaboration with ED providers.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and patient education while maintaining standards of practice. A strong team environment and opportunities for growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required within 6 months.
• Emergency Department experience preferred or new graduates eligible

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collects data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
• Organizes data into plan of care and identifies outcomes.
• Carries out plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the patient record.
• Communicates issues to Charge Nurse/Manager/physician as appropriate
