Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking an energetic RN to join the Emergency Department. The role supports 38-bed ED serving high-acuity patients including stroke and STEMI cases.

Expect 2x12 hour shifts weekly, with some weekend coverage and a sign-on bonus up to $7,500. We look for compassionate, self-motivated professionals who excel in fast-paced environments and collaborate with ED providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited nursing program.
• Georgia RN licensure or multi-state license required.
• BLS certification required for unit.
• ACLS/PALS as addendum certifications may be required within 6 months (per addendum).
• 1 year hospital experience preferred for PRN roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with ED team including Charge nurses and physicians.
• Document patient care in the medical record.
• Oversee activities of support team and educate patients and families.
