Job summary

Mercy St. Louis Emergency Department seeks graduates of accredited RN programs for a 16-week Graduate Nurse Residency.

This full-time program runs on three 12-hour night shifts (07am–07pm) with start dates in June 2027 or January 2027; participants gain hands-on patient care experience under supervision in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Benefits begin on day one, including medical, vision, dental, PTO, tuition reimbursement, employer-matched retirement, and eligibility for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact).
• BLS (AHA) required — or completed within 30 days of hire.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
