Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• CPR certification should be obtained within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for transport while waiting for nursing assistance.
• Report delays or canceled tests to the dispatcher and hospital staff.
• Complete work assignments within established time guidelines and dispatch system.
• Work independently and use resources to maintain efficient operations.
• Maintain communication with the dispatcher and respond to special instructions.
• Assist co-workers with lifting patients and ensure safe transport.
