Job summary

This full-time position requires CPR-BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire, commitment to privacy, safety protocols, and contributing to a patient and family–centered experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPR-BLS certificate required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Strong communication skills with ability to report patient information as indicated.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and privacy.
• Familiarity with safety management program to provide a hazard-free environment.
• Supports nurse in patient care activities with attention to developmental levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse in completion of patient care activities.
• Demonstrate strong communication with patients, families and healthcare team.
• Report patient information as indicated and document appropriately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Respond to changing census and patient needs in the department.
