You will ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, participate in quality initiatives, and collaborate with physicians to enhance patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduation from approved School of Nursing.
• 5 years of experience in specialty area.
• BS with MSN or BSN.
• Management experience 2-3 years.
• 4 hours annually in stroke care.
• Board Certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Promote evidence-based practice by developing guidelines and policies based on current research.
• Assist and support staff in developing and maintaining competency through orientation and ongoing education.
• Develop an annual plan to address quality improvement issues and projects.
• Analyze benchmarkable data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive staff development.
• Support staff in participation of quality improvement activities and professional organizations.
• Encourage staff to pursue formal education, certification, and other professional development opportunities.
