Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring for a Nursing Assistant to join the night shift team in Vermont. Under RN supervision, you will help with personal care, comfort, safety, and daily living activities for patients. You will also record vital signs and support nutrition, intake/output, and basic clinical procedures.

There is a base hourly wage range of $20.00 to $26.92, with typical adjustments for shift differentials and experience. BLS certification is required and you have 30 days to obtain it.

Qualificações

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure/certification: BLS required with 30 days to obtain.
• Skills: basic reading, writing and math.
• Knowledge: medical terminology and basic computer skills.
• Experience: none.

Responsabilidades

• Care for patients under RN supervision and assist with activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs, height/weight, and oxygen saturation.
• Collect intake and output, and report unusual observations to nurse.
• Provide nutrition support and assist with room service and feeding.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision and ensure patient safety.
• Adhere to infection control policies and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Assist with orientation of new Nursing Assistants.
