Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Connecticut RN license.
• Proven nursing leadership in an Emergency Department setting.
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center ED preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and drive operational performance.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Department.
• Lead staffing, recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture that supports employee engagement and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including infection prevention and patient safety.
• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and department performance goals.
• Manage departmental operations, resources, and workflow.
