Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Emergency Department seeks a dedicated LPN for full-time day, evening, and night shifts. Join a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center with vast multi-state patient care, ongoing education, and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

You will provide nursing care under RN supervision, coordinate with departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: LPN license in the hiring state.
• Experience: Hospital-based experience; Emergency Department preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required or completed within 30 days; LPN-IV Certification for Missouri within 3 months.
• Physical Requirements: Stand/walk most of the shift; lift/push up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under RN supervision.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Deliver compassionate, skilled care in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center environment.
