Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield – Emergency Department is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Level 1 Trauma Center team. This full-time position offers day/mid/night shifts, sign-on bonus up to $10,000, and comprehensive benefits as part of Mercy's Catholic healing mission.

You will provide patient care under the supervision of RNs and licensed physicians, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Current LPN license in the hiring state.
• Experience: Hospital-based experience; ED experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required or to be completed within 30 days; LPN-IV certification if applicable.
• Physical: Stand/walk most of the time; lift up to 50 pounds.
