Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking an Emergency Department Clinical Educator RN to lead and empower our nursing teams with advanced education across clinical settings.

You will design, implement, and evaluate dynamic programs, mentor frontline nurses, and drive best practices to ensure excellence in patient care and professional growth within CHI Health Midlands and Lakeside locations.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN by hire or current BSN with completion of MSN program within 5 years of start date
• Nursing education experience demonstrating progressive experience in the development and implementation of clinical education programs
• Minimum three years relevant nursing experience
• NE Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assesses, researches, coordinates/facilitates, implements, and evaluates educational and professional development programs.
• Acts as role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the campus and nursing division.
• Serves as a consultant for organizational, divisional, and system initiatives related to nursing practice.
• Seeks evidence based practice and applies to clinical excellence and education.
• Provides clinical expertise and leadership to quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development through onboarding, orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and mentorship programs.
