The Ward Clerk will communicate clearly with the charge nurse, coworkers, and physicians; consult other departments as needed, help manage supplies to support cost

• Communicates appropriately and clearly to charge nurse, coworkers and physicians.
• Consults other departments, as appropriate, to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to the patient’s needs.
• Assists in cost containment through appropriate ordering and conservation of supplies and equipment.
• Demonstrates an ability to be flexible.
