Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking a full-time role in the Emergency Department in Park Ridge, IL. The position involves coordinating tests, handling communications, and managing records within the EMR system.

Day shift hours are 0700-1900, 36 hours per week, with a pay range of $19.80-$29.70 per hour. Base duties include charting admissions, transfers, discharges, and ensuring accurate patient demographics and registration.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED/HSED required.
• No prior healthcare experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates tests and treatments across departments to schedule tests and treatments.
• Facilitates communications among care teams and manages multi-line paging.
• Uses EMR and hospital systems to order supplies and process charges.
• Prepares chart forms for admissions, transfers, discharges, and expirations.
• Verifies patient demographics and registration accuracy.
• Maintains positive relations with patients and staff and responds to requests.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate care and life-span considerations.
