Ascension is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented administrative Clerk for the Emergency Department at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital in Panama City, FL. You will greet patients, answer calls, file and route mail, and support clinicians with order entry and chart assembly.

Qualifications

• Greet patients and visitors, answer/screen/route telephone calls, file, distribute mail and perform other general clerical duties.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care according to protocol.
• Schedule patients for individual appointment and in a timely manner.
• Assist Physicians/Clinicians through order entry processes, transfers and discharges; assemble and maintain patient charts.

Responsibilities
