Job summary

Qualifications

• RN License to practice in Massachusetts.
• 5 years of clinical experience in the specialty area.
• Experience in education, staff development, or clinical instruction.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery, and evaluation of education programs for Emergency Department/Trauma units across Baystate Health.
• Serve as subject matter expert and resource for clinical teams within this specialty.
• Develop and maintain competency-based orientation; develop, evaluate, and teach classes.
• Provide expertise in development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Develop and revise curriculum content based on current guidelines, evidence, and learner feedback.
• Facilitate learner-centered educational sessions using in-person, virtual, and simulation modalities.
• Mentor and support other clinical education team members.
• Travel between Baystate Health facilities; ensure system-wide consistency.
