Christus Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support the ED team. The role involves assisting with patient care under RN supervision, patient registration, and maintenance of a safe, well-organized department environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, performing basic procedures within training, and aiding with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT or PT Care Tech programs required/preferred.
• Active BLS certification required or maintained.

Mansioni

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharges of patients.
• Observe patient condition and report changes to RN.
• Assist with keeping the unit stocked, cleaned, and organized.
• Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, splinting, and dressing changes per scope.
• Operate and monitor patient devices under RN supervision.
• Provide clerical support and assist with patient registration as needed.
