Qualifications

• Current CNA license, EMT license or MA program grad required or nursing student with 1 year of clinical rotations; or 2+ years ED tech experience.
• CPI certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Paraqedic license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, stock, and ready the ED for patient care.
• Transport patients within the department and to in-hospital locations as needed.
• Perform clinical tasks (EKG, wound care prep, lab specimens per orders) and sterile technique.
• Assist in applying splints/molds and setting up orthopedic clinics as ordered.
• Draw labs as required and follow physician/nurse directions.
