Job summary

Plymouth, MA-based Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Part-time Emergency Department Technician to support the ED and patient care teams.

Schedule is 24 hours weekly, day shift 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with every other weekend and rotating holidays; duties include cleaning, stocking, patient transport, EKGs, wound care, labs, and assisting physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Current CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant program graduate or nursing student with 1 year of rotations.
• Minimum 2 years ED Tech experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, stocks, and readies the ED for patient care.
• Transports patients within the department and to in-hospital locations.
• Assists with EKGs, wound care, labs, and specimen collection; supports clinicians.
