Job summary

Enloe Health's Emergency Department is seeking an ED Technician to facilitate patient flow and support clinicians in a fast-paced setting. You will perform basic patient care under RN supervision, obtain vital signs, and help prepare patients for evaluation.

Minimum qualifications include EMT or six months ED/pre-hospital experience and CPR certification, with strong knowledge of medical terminology and professional communication. On-site shifts and varied schedules are typical at Enloe Health.

Qualifications

• Minimum: EMT or Military Corpsman experience OR six months ED/pre-hospital experience.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ability to communicate professionally with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow in the Emergency Department.
• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for clinician evaluation.
• Maintain orderly ED area and ensure supplies/equipment are ready.
