Enloe Health's Emergency Department is seeking an ED Technician to facilitate patient flow and support clinicians in a fast-paced setting. You will perform basic patient care under RN supervision, obtain vital signs, and help prepare patients for evaluation.
Minimum qualifications include EMT or six months ED/pre-hospital experience and CPR certification, with strong knowledge of medical terminology and professional communication. On-site shifts and varied schedules are typical at Enloe Health.

The Emergency Department Technician’s primary responsibility is to facilitate patient flow. The ED Technician provides basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They may perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. Patient care would include: obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, obtaining specimens, preparing, and assisting patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting clinician. They will see that the area is orderly, well stocked with supplies and equipment is ready for use.
