Job summary

PIH Health seeks a patient care support role to assist in hospital settings, performing 12-lead EKG setup, phlebotomy duties upon certification within 12 months, and support infection control. Preferred candidates have EMT or CNA credentials, hospital tech experience, and basic computer skills. Minimum wage starts at $23/hour; full-time position with benefits offered.

Required Experience

Required:

• Minimal EKG knowledgeable to set-up and run 12-lead EKG (hospital to train)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
• Phlebotomy training/State certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Non-violent crisis intervention training annually

Preferred:

• California state licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified Nurse Attendant (CNA)
• Acute general hospital experience either as an ED Tech, CNA or nursing student.
• Basic windows and mouse skills.
