Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital seeks an ED Tech/CNA to assist with patient care under supervision, maintain a safe, clean environment, and support relationship-based care. You will help set up 12-lead EKGs, follow infection control practices, and assist in the ED team.

Requirements include American Heart Association BLS certification, phlebotomy training within 12 months of hire, and strong English communication. Nights with shift differential are offered at PIH Health Whittier.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal English communication skill.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Able to work using aseptic techniques.
• BLS certification required; phlebotomy training within 12 months of hire; crisis intervention training annually.
